Former credit union walls come tumbling done

    Sh library demolition 1 crShrewsbury – Employees of Patriots Environmental Services Co. of Oxford, start work on the demolition of the former Shrewsbury Federal Credit Union located next to the Shrewsbury Public Library.

    The demolition is part of the library’s $21 million expansion and renovation. Town Meeting members approved the purchase of the former credit union building in January 2011 for $760,000, for the project.
