Northborough: The Trinity Players to present Mystery Dinner Theater

Northborough – The Trinity Players will be presenting a hilarious Mystery Dinner, “The Costume Party Caper.” There will be two performances: Saturday, March 21, at 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 22, at 3:30 p.m. The shows will be held at Trinity Church, 23 Main St., Northborough.

In the Costume Party Caper, Albert Clayton hosts a dinner party to show off his latest acquisition, the Pope Diamond, said to be the largest in the world. Included on the guest list are the very British Lord and Lady Atherton, the staid Prunella Puddington, the snobbish Bradford Gardiners, and Calvin McGinnes, a rake if ever there was one. The diamond turns up missing, causing Chief Percy Witherspoon to begin an investigation. Along with the theft, the Chief soon has a murder to investigate as well.

Come and see if you can solve the mystery before the detective. Compete with other tables to see who will win. Tickets are $40 for Saturday night’s performance (includes a three-course dinner) and $25 for the Sunday afternoon performance (includes a lighter fare). Call Trinity Church at 508-393-8156 to reserve tickets.
