Arundel, Maine – Elaine M. Bennett, 78, of Arundel, Maine, formerly of Westborough and Grafton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, Maine. She was the wife of the late Norman H. Bennett.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Helen (Smith) Levia. She was raised and educated in Grafton and was a graduate of Grafton High School.
Elaine resided in Westborough for many years moving to Maine in 2004. While residing in Westborough she was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church.
She is survived by one son, Philip F. Bayrouty Jr. of Westborough; one daughter, Norma-Jean Bennett of Arundel, Maine; two sisters, Pauline Kinsell of Shrewsbury and Margaret Porter of Worcester; one brother, David Levia of Florida; five grandchildren, Kara, Sarah, Daniel, John, and Hailey; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Liam. She was the mother of the late Doug Bayrouty and sister of the late Clifford Levia, Helen Lapan, and Jeanette Particianone.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., are Sunday, March 15, from 2-5 p.m.
