Letter to Editor: Kane has a ‘proven can-do problem solving approach’

To the Editor:

We enthusiastically support Hannah Kane’s candidacy for election on March 31st as State Representative for Shrewsbury and Westborough’s Precincts Four and Five. As both a small business owner and a government official, Hannah knows first-hand the crushing effects of government mandates on all elements of municipal government, including critical education and public safety services, and also on private sector job creation. She will work to increase municipal aid, end unfunded mandates and help our businesses grow.

Hannah’s proven can-do problem solving approach and unfaltering work ethic has repeatedly helped the community when she identifies a situation she wants to improve. Time and time again she has devoted her energy and talent to efforts to improve public education; provide food, warmth, counseling and social services to families in need; and offer appropriate services to the disabled. Her successful efforts have benefitted Shrewsbury, Westborough and the region at-large.

Hannah Kane’s election will continue movement toward true bipartisan government, not the one-party model that led to so many problems we face today. We need leaders who will act independently of conventional wisdom and business as usual practices. Hannah Kane is that person.

If Shrewsbury’s and Westborough’s voters are satisfied with previous Massachusetts administrations, they should vote for more of the same. We are not.

Please vote for Hannah Kane on March 31st.

Deborah and John Lebeaux
