Ashland – The Ashland Business Association (ABA) will award two-$1,000 scholarships to high school seniors residing in Ashland who best demonstrate good work ethics, motivation, creativity and business/community interests. The deadline to submit an application and supporting material is midnight, Friday, April 24.
Last year’s winners were Taylor Carson and Molly Zodikoff. Carson attended Loyola University in Maryland to study speech and language pathology. Zodikoff attended the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech to study marketing management. Both students participated in many community activities.
Scholarship Committee members are M.R. Fletcher (Earthly Wealth Jewelry), Bill Gath (The Homes Connection of Metrowest), Leslie Marci (Ashland Education Foundation, Inc.), Claudette Rowe (Knowledge Points Learning Center) and Adam Sachs, chair (Centinel Financial Group). The committee usually presents the awards at graduation in June.
