Marlborough – Marlborough-based companies Employment Options and LCI Paper recently recognized the 15th anniversary of working together.

Employment Options is a nonprofit agency serving those in the Metrowest region who are looking to improve and manage their mental health. Part of the program is finding employment in local companies.

“My first LCI employee came from Options,” said LCI Paper Company owner and CEO Larry Chase. “I’ve always had a great experience with the company and their workers, who are extremely diligent and dedicated.”

He noted one employee in particular who has been a dedicated employee for the last 12 years. “He’s one of my best workers,” Chase said.

In 1996 Chase received the Massachusetts Employer Award at the State House for diversifying the company’s workforce and supporting individuals and families in mental health recovery.

Toni Wolf, executive director of Employment Options, said she was thrilled that LCI Paper was acknowledged for its leadership in supporting individuals in mental health recovery to re-enter the workforce.
