Westborough girls lacrosse tops Algonquin in season opener

Westborough – The Westborough High School Rangers girls lacrosse team defeated the Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks by a score of 10-7 in a game played April 7. The game was the season opener for both teams.

Sarah Bracey and Nicole Foster each scored three goals for Westborough, and goalies Julia McCarthy and Kayleigh Wright had four saves apiece in the victory. Julia Insani was the top scorer for Algonquin with three goals.
