Apple Tree Arts offers April vacation theater workshops

Grafton – Apple Tree Arts will be hosting two special theater workshops over the April school vacation break. The community school of the arts is offering two workshops – one for grades three to five and another for grades six to nine. Call 508-839-4286 or visit www.appletreearts.org to register. Students will learn how to use creative expression, emotional connection and character development through the use of voice, movement and imagination. The workshop for grades 3-5 starts on Tuesday, April 21 and runs until Thursday, April 23. The two-hour workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. The daily two-hour workshop for grades 6-9 starts on Monday, April 20 at 12:30 p.m. and continues until April 24.

The workshops will be taught by theatre arts educator Joscelyn Young and professional actor and producer of children’s workshops, Kelli Deliso.

Founded in 1989, Apple Tree Arts is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization that has grown to serve over 1,000 children and adults annually with early childhood music classes, group keyboard lessons, private music and voice instruction, ensembles, theatre arts programs and concerts.
