Region – SpencerBANK recently donated over 14 acres (five parcels) of land in Sturbridge to Habitat for Humanity-MetroWest/Greater Worcester. SpencerBANK’s donation will aid the organization in carrying out its mission of building simple, decent, affordable homes for low-income families.

Habitat homes are built solely through donations and volunteerism to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness in their communities. SpencerBANK’s donation of land to Habitat for Humanity will allow the organization and its volunteers the space they need to construct new homes.

“Here at SpencerBANK, we have a passion for helping individuals in the communities we serve. It is a privilege to partner with Habitat for Humanity to help provide families in need with warm, safe and stable homes,” said SpencerBANK President and CEO K. Michael Robbins.
