Shrewsbury –Thanks to the generosity of its customers, the Shrewsbury Stop & Shop recently presented the Worcester County Food Bank with a check for $4,113.60. The monies were donated as part of the store’s Food for Friends program.
The store is currently working towards a goal of raising $8,000 to go towards childhood cancer research with its Triple Winner program. Monies raised through that program will be donated to the Jimmy Fund.
