Grafton – Lloyd L. Hamm Jr., president and CEO of Homefield Credit Union, announced that Doug Lanzillo, assistant vice president of real estate lending, is nominated and will be honored April 29 as a Rising Star at the 2015 Great New England Credit Union Show, an annual event that is attended by over 600 credit union professionals.
According to Hamm, Lanzillo represents the best principles of Homefield Credit Union.
“Not only does Doug bring tremendous energy, talent and creativity to his work and therefore to the credit union, but he also sets the bar for community outreach, both in terms of home ownership education and his active volunteer efforts among a number of worthwhile community programs,” he said. “Both on the job and within the community, Doug is truly exceptional.”
Lanzillo has been involved in many important initiatives. He created Homefield Credit Union’s home buyer seminars, as well as the Realtor Outreach Ambassadorship and Home of the Week programs. Within the community, he is a member of the Operations Committee at the Community Harvest Project, and coaches in the H.E.A.R.T. Flag Football League. Lanzillo holds an MBA from Clark University. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Sutton and recently welcomed their fourth child.
