Region – New Life Home Refurnishing, 102 Elm St., Walpole, will host an open house celebration Thursday, April 30, from 6-9 p.m. to mark the organization’s sponsorship of Day Two of the second annual Walk for MA Children from April 30 to May 9. Each day of this 10-day, 135.5-mile walk is dedicated to building awareness of the needs of the children of Massachusetts, and raising funds for state agencies that serve the needs of children. Volunteers will be walking Friday, May 1, from the Natick Mall to the Shrewsbury town line on behalf of New Life Home Refurnishing.
New Life Home Refurnishing is a nonprofit organization that collects gently used furniture and household items that are then made available to individuals and families in need.
