Marlborough – Ann M. (Pazzanese) Lucci, 84, died Friday, April 17, 2015 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Edward Lucci, who died in 1989.

She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Francesco and Angelina (Scorzelli) Pazzanese, and lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Lucci worked as a lab technician at the Marlborough Hospital for most of her career where she made life-long friends.

She enjoyed summering in Cape Cod with her husband, finally living there fulltime before moving to Carmel Terrace in Framingham where she spent her last years. She was an avid bingo player and loved to go out to dinner with and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Pazzanese of New York, and eight nieces and nephews, Daniel Pazzanese of Tewksbury, Ellen Fiorentino of New Yprk, Steven Pazzanese of New York, Elizabeth Tracy of New York, Frank Pazzanese of California, Susan Baccari of Medford, Jackie Baker of Florida, and Mary Maslowski of Marlborough and West Harwich. She was predeceased by one sister, Emmy Maslowski, and two brothers, Daniel Pazzanese and A. John Pazzanese.

The family particularly would like to thank the Sisters, staff and residents at Carmel Terrace in Framingham who offered her friendship and companionship in her last years.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 21, at 9 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Visiting hours will be held Monday, April 20, from 4-7 p.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
