Westborough – Nancy J. Yendriga, 70, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was the wife of Frank Yendriga.

Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Sullivan) Hackett. She was educated in Quincy, and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and also a graduate of Aquinas College.

Nancy served the Town of Westborough as Assistant Town Clerk for one year and then as Town Clerk for 19 years, retiring in December of 2013.

She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church, a member of the Board of Directors for Symphony Pro Musica, and a former member of the Rotary Club of Westborough.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lisa Yendriga-Norberg and her husband Derek of Brighton and Jill M. Yendriga of Watertown; two sisters, Joan Cody of Wellesley and Eileen Tangney of Milton; one grandson, Connor M. Norberg; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas Hackett.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 1, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Charlotte Spinney Vision Scholarship, Westborough Town Hall, Attention: Town Treasurer, 34 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581. Please make checks payable to “Town of Westborough.”

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of David A. Pickering, Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
