Northborough – The American Heart Association recently recognized Algonquin Regional High School as a CPR SMART School after passing a policy that requires CPR skills training as part of the high school curriculum. All 10th-grade students will be trained in CPR as well as the use of an AED as part of the school’s health and fitness curriculum, which all students take as part of their core graduation requirements. Algonquin is the second school district in Massachusetts to be named a CPR SMART school.
