Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Farmers Market has announced that its opening day for the market’s second inaugural season will be Wednesday, June 17. The market will be open every Wednesday from June 17 through Sept. 30, from 2-6:30 p.m. at Ski Ward, 1000 Main St.
This year’s market will offer a wide selection of local agricultural products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, such as specialty Asian and micro green produce; local, grass fed, free range and antibiotic-free meats, eggs and cheese; artisan breads, handmade baked goods, gourmet brownies, and fudge; alpaca fleece products; micro-roasted coffee; and soaps and skincare products made from local ingredients.
