Obit Carol A. Ristuccia UlisseMarlborough – Carol Ann (Ristuccia) Ulisse, 67, died peacefully Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland after a short illness.

Born and raised in Marlborough, Carol was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Santella) Ristuccia. She graduated from the Immaculate Conception School, Marlborough, class of 1962; Marian High School, Framingham, class of 1966; and Mt. St. Mary College, Hooksett, N.H., class of 1970, where she earned her degree in elementary education. She began her teaching career in the Marlborough School System and taught 2nd grade at Richer and Kane Elementary Schools, until retiring in 2006.

Carol had a contagious zest for life. She was the life of the party with a warm sense of humor and a vivacious personality. She had a quick wit, strong sense of loyalty and was a profound influence on her young students.

She will be greatly missed by her many high school and college friends and teaching associates with whom she maintained strong relationships, and with whom she shared vacations on Cape Cod and travels throughout Europe.

She is survived by her aunt, Dorothy Santella of Marlborough, and many cousins from the Ristuccia and Santella families.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 16, from 4-7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 17, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
