Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Marlborough – Michael J. “Mike” D’Amico, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015. He was the husband of Sharon (Rice) D’Amico, to whom he was married for 30 years.

He was born March 3, 1957 in Hudson, the son of Rita (Ricciuti) D’Amico of Marlborough and the late Pasquale D’Amico, and lived all of his life in Marlborough and Hudson.

Mike attended Marlborough schools and was a graduate of Marlborough High School, class of 1975. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1975-1978, attaining the rank of sergeant, and had a 32-year career at Lorillard Tobacco Co. mentoring many developing sales professionals.

Mike was a devoted and loving father to his three sons. He enjoyed coaching them in basketball and baseball in Hudson youth sports.

Besides his wife and mother he is survived by three sons, Joseph of Hudson, Steven of Los Angeles, Calif., and Anthony of Hudson; three sisters, Jeanne Timm and her husband Mike of Milford, Patricia Miele and her husband Francis of Marlborough, and Judy Patterson and her husband Mike of Athol; his godson, Mike Timm Jr. of Milford, and goddaughter, Jessica Bullock of Hyannis; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Bullock.

His funeral Mass was held June 15 in St. Michael’s Church of Hudson, followed by burial in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.
