Shrewsbury – Fifth and sixth graders at Sherwood Middle School enjoyed a wonderful field day filled with fun games and activities June 16. Wearing their team colors, they enjoyed competing with and against their friends in kickball, the Hamburger Rally and tug of war just to name a few of the games being played.
Field Day was run by a host of parent volunteers who kept the kids entertained while Shrewsbury Fire Chief James Vuona DJ-ed the event as Mr. Bigz Music Machine, his business he runs when he’s not leading the department.
Students were all smiles as they rotated through the 10 stations in the back field enjoying working together to win while having fun as the school year came to a close.
