Marlborough – Move over Gisele, Kate and Karlie. There’s a new group of supermodels in town. Specifically the six lovely ladies and one handsome (and brave) man who strutted their best moves in the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce’s (MRCC) Fashion Show held June 19 at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The show was held as part of the MRCC’s monthly Women’s Business Council Luncheon.
The show was emceed by MRCC president and CEO Susanne Morreale-Leeber who noted that all of the fashions, including the stunning blue cocktail dress that she was wearing, were courtesy of Hint of Class Consignment in Marlborough.
Although the models hold other jobs in their “real” lives, they all were poised, comfortable and relaxed as they modelled three different outfits ranging from formal, business attire and casual.
The nearly 40 guests in attendance were very complimentary about all of the models but there was one that received the most appreciative comments. That would be Cathy Mogavero, the former MRCC executive vice president, beloved and friend to all.
And although Bryan Daniels of Herlihy Insurance was the only male model in the show, he clearly enjoyed himself, even stopping to take a “selfie” mid-strut, to the delight of the audience.
The other models were: Jackie Smith, MRCC; Samantha Brown, TD Bank; Mary Ann Stein, Marlborough Hospital; Christine Andrews, Next Step Living; and Dianne Halper, MRCC volunteer.
Hair and makeup was styled by Cesar Hair Design & Salon. Music was provided by DJ DAP (Daniel Padilla). The event was sponsored by Al Brodeur’s Auto Body, Inc.
