Grafton – John David Mullen, 66, died this past Friday, July 3, 2015 in the early morning hours following a difficult struggle with respiratory illness.
Survived by his faithful wife, Marilyn, and four loving children, Joseph, Patrick, Leslie (Philip), and Catherine, John was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and career telecommunications worker with New England Telephone, AT&T, and Verizon.
A man of great humor and unwavering faith, John had a love of life and experience that he passed on to his children and will endure through the next generation, eagerly expected in August.
Among a great many dear friends and members of the family, John is remembered by brothers Thomas (Evelyn), Daniel (Patricia), and Peter (Mary Theresa).
A private, informal memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, July 12. A private burial ceremony will be held at the end of the week. Parties who wish to attend the memorial service, please contact the family for further details.
The family has requested that anyone willing and able to make a donation in John’s memory may direct their contribution to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org), with our gratitude.
