Lorraine was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Ida B. (Sweet) Noel. She was a graduate of Commerce High School.
She worked for Hanover Insurance Company for several years as a Senior Computer Operator, and prior to retiring she worked as a Payroll Processor for PayrollPros.
She was an avid bowler in local leagues. She loved to cook large family dinners especially on holidays. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and watching cooking and game shows. Her favorite was Jeopardy.
Lorraine also loved to crochet, knit and created many beautiful crewel work pieces. Over the years she collected a vast array of miniature figurines and treasured every one of them. But, as a devoted mother and grandmother, her favorite treasures were her children and grandchildren.
She will forever be remembered for her quick wit. Her humor never faltered. She was cracking jokes, making everyone laugh right to the very end.
