Hudson – Gail C. (Stickney) Goudreau passed away peacefully at home Friday, July 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. Her husband of 50 years, Robert T. Goudreau, died in 2010.

She leaves behind her son Brian Goudreau and his wife Elizabeth of Anchorage, AK; her two daughters, Amy Halloran and her husband William of Sunderland and Emily MacDonald and her husband Richard of Berlin, N.H.; eight grandchildren; and her brother, Paul Stickney.

Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Asa and Grayce (Bradstreet) Stickney. Raised in Methuen, she graduated from Methuen High School in 1952 and attended UNH. Mrs. Goudreau worked as the office manager for Phillips Precision in Boylston from 1975 until her retirement in 2010. An active member of Church of The Nativity, her membership spanned for 35 plus years, serving on the mission committee and as a choir member. She was a founding member of Assabet Valley Master Singers.

Years ago, Mrs. Goudreau danced competitively and also enjoyed square dancing. One her longtime passions was catering various functions and events. For many years, she enjoyed attending performing arts events at Mechanics Hall in Worcester.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 14, from 5-8 p.m., in Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St., Northborough. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m., in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gail’s memory may be made to Church of The Nativity. Burial will be held privately in Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough.
