Obit Kathryn BeamanGrafton – Kathryn E. (Tibbetts) Beaman, 65, passed peacefully at home Monday, July 13, 2015 after battling cancer.

She leaves her husband of 44 years, James C. Beaman; one daughter, Stefany E. Flynn, her husband Bryan, and their children Molly and Mackenzie; one brother, James Tibbetts; three sisters, Shirley Burt, Rosemary Stanek, and Pamela Bourque; many nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Nathan and Muriel (Kane) Tibbetts, and two sisters, Beverly Bergeron and Barbara Tibbetts.

She was born Oct. 2, 1949 in Springfield, and was raised and educated there, graduating from Springfield Commerce High School. She lived briefly in Westborough and had been in Grafton since 1977.

Kathy worked at Bay State Abrasives Co. in Westborough and then at the Sears Service Center in Westborough and Northborough.

The greatest loves of her life were her husband and family. Kathy also enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Twin Rivers in Rhode Island.

The family suggests you remember her with donations in lieu of flowers to St. Mary’s Church, Memorial Fund, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton, MA 01536.

All are invited to calling hours Thursday, July 16, from 5-8 p.m., at the Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. Kathy will then be cremated in accordance with her wishes. All are invited to the celebration of her Funeral Mass Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 17 Waterville St., North Grafton. Her ashes will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.
