Obit Billie HisoireGrafton – Billie Hisoire, 89, left behind family, friends, and a unique legacy after passing away Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

She leaves her sisters, Aldea Roberts of Worcester, Phyllis Simpson of South Grafton, and Theresa Lebel of Seal Beach, Calif.; two nieces who acted as caregivers, Roxanne Auger and Annette Roberts, along with many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Oh-B. She was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Eva Hisoire, and two sisters, Cecilia Auger and Virginia Siska.

She was born Oct. 27, 1925 and was raised and educated in Fisherville. She lived in Grafton most of her life with time spent in California and Virginia.

Billie retired from Flexcon in Spencer.

Billie was an avid craftswoman and talented woodcarver winning awards. She enjoyed fishing, raising show dogs, storytelling, and, most of all, she loved family. She appreciated every day and accepted everyone for who they were.

The family suggests you remember her and her love of animals with donations to Second Chance Shelter, P.O. Box 136, E. Brookfield, MA 01515 or Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606.

All are invited to a celebration of her life Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at the Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. Billie will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.
