Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning:

On 7/28/15, at approximately 2:58 PM, the Westborough Police received a report from the staff at the YMCA at 4 Valente Dr. reporting that two suspects from previous thefts had entered the building. Det. Sgt. Peter Goodney along with Dets. Gary Hassett and Steven Tompkins set up a surveillance in and around the building. This key was stolen from a locker in the male locker room which were either unlocked or forced open.

The other suspect, identified as Emmanuel Paragios, age 37 of 42 Walsh Ave. Peabody, was arrested by Off. LeeAnne Baker walking down the driveway away from the building. In his possession were items also stolen from the locker room.

Joubert and Paragiuous were charged with larceny over $250 3 counts, breaking and entering a depository 2 counts, malicious destruction of property and breaking and entering a motor vehicle with intent to commit a felony. Joubert was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Framingham District Court for armed robbery and intimidation.
