Region – On Sunday, Sept. 13, the ALS Family Charitable Foundation will present their 19th annual “Cliff Walk” for ALS fundraiser, sponsored by Superior Rail & Iron Works.
Supporters are invited to spend the day on the beautiful Cape Cod Canal, at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area on Main Street, for a full day of fun and fundraising, featuring activities for the whole family including raffles, prizes, BBQ, games, a balloon man, moon bounces, face painting, tug of war, bean bag toss, live musical entertainment from South Shore Rave and Mike Dumas & The Satellite Band and a scenic seven-mile walk along the canal.
Pledge forms are available at alsfamily.org. If you would like to participate but are unable to gather pledges, the public is welcome to join in the festivities for a $10 donation per person. This event is rain or shine, registration is at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m.
