Hudson – Jean F. (Francis) LeBrun, 82, of Hudson, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 at Marlborough Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Hudson. She was the beloved wife of the late Maurice R. LeBrun, who died in 1985.

Jean was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Oliver and Margaret (Schonback) Francis. She was a 1950 graduate of Chelsea High School. She later received her Nursing Degree from the Chelsea Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1955.

She was a Registered Nurse and spent time at the Hudson Health Center and also Marlborough Hospital. She was a member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson and member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.

Jean was a very religious person and always looked forward to attending religious services throughout the week. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her son, Robert A. LeBrun of Hudson, and her two loving granddaughters, Rebecca LeBrun of Everett and Sarah LeBrun of Plymouth. She is also survived by Robert’s longtime loving partner whom Jean loved as her own daughter, Laura Abbott of Hudson; Laura’s daughter, Diane Alvaranga whom Jean respectfully loved as a granddaughter; and many friends.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 17, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Calling hours will be held Sunday, Aug. 16, from 2-5 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
