Westborough- Joanna Aramini has been awarded this year’s Westborough Historical Society scholarship. The society’s president Cary Mulrain recently presented the $1,000 grant to Aramini.
Scholarship applicants are asked to write an essay about a personal memory that exemplifies Westborough. Aramini’s essay explored her deep roots in Westborough, beginning with the arrival of her great-grandparents from Italy in the early 1900s. She will be attending the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester this fall.
