Marlborough – August is the National Immunization Awareness month. Immunizations are important because they protect a person from illness like flu, pneumonia and the measles which can be a serious health issue. Adults, like children, need to be vaccinated against certain illnesses, but it is important to know which vaccinations you need. By getting your shots, you can protect the people around you at home, work and at play. Talk to your doctor about what vaccinations you need to get so you can be sure your health is protected.
