Marlborough – Lorraine A. (Gonyea) Letendre, 69, of Marlborough, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015 at Millbury Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Clarence F. Letendre Jr., who died in 2009.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Cora (Bernard) Gonyea, and was educated in Millbury.
She worked in the housekeeping department at Marlborough Hospital for 21 years, retiring several years ago.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, and she enjoyed photography, needlepoint, cross stitching and word search puzzles.
She leaves her stepdaughter, Dawn M. Kallberg of Maynard; three brothers, Norman L. Gonyea and his wife Pat of Millbury, Ronald H. Gonyea and his wife Carolyn of Melbourne, Fla., and Richard Gonyea and his wife Marge of Williamsburg, Va.; a sister, Ann Pierpont of Millbury; three grandchildren, Monica, Caitlyn, and Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, James and Emma; and four nephews and five nieces.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m., in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 472 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. A time of visitation will be held prior to the Mass on Friday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.CollinsFuneral.com), 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine’s name to a charity.
