He is survived by his loving bride of 48 years, Virginia Collins Gadbois; his son, Derek Edward Gadbois and his wife Paula of Charlton; his daughter, Nicole Gadbois Fulton and her husband Harry of Fairfax Station, Va.; his three brothers, Edgar, Donald and Edward; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service celebrating his life and legacy will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Rd., Hudson. Arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough (www.slatteryfuneralhome.com).
