Hudson – With the success of the Spirit of Hudson Food & Brewfest Aug. 15, the Hudson Rotary Club presented $2,500 in donations to two worthy organizations. The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden in Harvard received a $1,000 donation for their Fund-A-Need initiative to help cover the cost of services for those in financial need. The River’s Edge Arts Alliance in Hudson received a $1,500 donation to assist in their call to raise $30,000 to help maintain the cultural programs that the alliance provides. The Hudson Rotary Club meets at 6 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at the Hudson Portuguese Club for education, service, and fellowship.
