Algonquin girls’ soccer tops Hudson in season opener

    Northborough – The Algonquin Regional High School Tomahawks girls’ soccer team defeated the Hudson High School Hawks by a score of 7-1 in the season opener for both teams.

    All of the scoring action was in the first half, where Algonquin sprinted out to a 4-0 lead before Hudson netted a goal. Kate Hostage scored three goals while Annemarie Moy, Caroline Leonard, Caroline McAndrews and Sydney Carney contributed one goal each. Hudson’s goal was scored by Josie Saliga.
