Northborough – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Regional office in Northborough is pleased to support Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s charitable foundation, as it hosts a golf tournament to benefit Lucy’s Love Bus Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow.
Lucy’s Love Bus is a Boston-based nonprofit organization which strives to deliver comfort and quality of life to pediatric cancer patients by providing funds for free integrative therapies such as massage, acupuncture, art therapy and therapeutic horseback riding.
The organization is named in honor of the late Lucy Grogran, who was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Sadly, Lucy passed away from her illness when she was 11 but her legacy lives on as the organization has helped more than 300 children with cancer.
“We are so proud to partner with Lucy’s Love Bus, which provides invaluable support to children and families that are dealing with the harsh side effects of cancer. A cancer diagnosis can be devastating, and many families rely on organizations like Lucy’s Love Bus to help them through the process,” said Pat Villani, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England.
