Grafton – Apple Tree Arts’ Community Chorus invites singers ages 18 and older to attend one of the Chorus’s open rehearsals of its new season on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Grafton, 30 Grafton Common in Grafton.

“If you love to sign and enjoy performing, please join us for our fall season,” said Chuck Brown, music director. “We enjoy making music together and the fellowship that comes from performing choral music for all audiences.”

“Our concert in December will feature a selection of holiday and standard madrigals, spirituals and the music of Moses Hogan,” he added.

The Community Chorus will perform at the nonprofit community arts school’s twelfth annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Grafton. The free concert is part of Grafton Celebrates the Holidays event sponsored by the town of Grafton’s Recreation Commission.

The 30-member adult community chorus meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Congregational Church. Rehearsals start Tuesday, Sept.15. All are welcome to join the non-audition chorus. Members are from several communities in central Massachusetts. A fee of $35 is charged per season to offset music costs.
