Northborough man arrested for alleged robbery at Westborough bank

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this evening-

On 9/14/15, at approximately 11:45 AM, the Westborough Police received a report of a robbery at the Citizen’s Bank located inside Stop and Shop at 32 Lyman St.

The employees reported that a white male, between 5’5” and 5’7” entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect was wearing a baseball hat and had a mustache. There was no weapon shown. An undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

At 6:15 PM, Det. Sgt. Peter Goodney of the Westborough Police Department assisted by the Northborough Police Department, arrested Christopher W. Comeau, age 20 of 74B Ridge Rd. Northborough at his residence. He has been charged with unarmed robbery and will be arraigned in WDC on Tuesday morning.
