Grafton – The Grafton High School Eagles football team started the season with a win over Westborough High School Rangers by a score of 28-14, in a game played on September 11, 2015.
Grafton’s Matt O’Brien scored three touchdowns in the first half, including a 96-yard run in the first quarter. Grafton’s final touchdown came on a 25-yard run by Ifeatu Melifonwu in the third quarter. Kicker Leo Stattuck made all four extra point attempts.
Westborough rallied in the fourth quarter with two touchdowns, one a run by Anthony Casparriello. The Rangers also scored two points on a safety when the ball was hiked over the head of Grafton’s punter late in the fourth quarter.
