Westborough boy struck by hit and run driver

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this evening:

The Westborough Police received a report on Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 2:23 PM of a 12 year old middle school male student who was struck by a vehicle while crossing W. Main St. at Blake St. A witness reported that the youth was crossing from Blake St. across W. Main St. when he was struck and knocked down by a silver colored compact motor vehicle which was traveling west on W. Main St. The vehicle did not stop after the collision. The operator of the vehicle was described as a white female with dark colored hair pulled back. The youth was treated by Paramedics from the Westborough Fire Dept. and was transported to U Mass Medical as a precaution.

The Westborough Police are asking for anyone with any information in regards to the accident to please call the department at 508-366-3060.
