Marlborough – September is National Emergency Preparedness month and here are a few tips to help you and your family stay safe during an emergency. First, create a communication plan with your family to ensure that you all can connect during an emergency. Second, prepare an emergency preparedness kit that includes electronics, health and safety supplies and medical supplies for your home, office and car. Last, stay informed. You should understand the different ways you can get information about potential threats in your community. Remember, the actions you take before an emergency can protect yourself and your loved ones during an emergency.
