Southborough – Margaret P. (Ferrari) Stoddard, 78, of Southborough, formerly of Framingham, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William L. Stoddard for 43 years and was the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Ellen M. (Eagan) Ferrari.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Michael’s Academy in Hudson and Ward’s Worcester School of Business Science. She worked for 38 years as a secretary for her husband’s business, R.M. Davis & Son.

Margaret enjoyed reading and old time movies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and friends.

She leaves her children, Lynann Kendall of Southborough and Michael Graves and his wife Sara of Shrewsbury; her stepchildren, Mark W. Stoddard of Hudson and Lori Andrews and her husband Scott of E. Douglas; five grandchildren, Kathryn, Sara, and Sam Kendall and Matthew and Emily Graves; a step-grandchild, Thomas Andrews; her brother, Thomas E. Ferrari of Westborough; her sisters, Mary L. Ferrari of Marlborough, Kathleen Zanella and her husband George of Framingham, and Anne Greenberg and her husband Steve of Ashland; a sister-in-law, Judith Ferrari of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard J. Ferrari, and her son-in-law, Christopher Kendall.

There are no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will follow at the Southborough Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to St. Matthew Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough, MA 01772.
