Obit Luther A.D. Ward Jr.Grafton – Luther A.D. Ward Jr., 88, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015 following a short illness.

Luther is survived by his six children, Jo-Anne E. Ward-Small, Luther A.D. Ward III, Sandra W., Barbara L. Ward, Worcester Police Officer James G. Ward, and Deirdre D. Ward; his sister, Marjorie Wilson; his brothers, Richard, Daniel and William Ward; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Ward; brother James Ward, and sisters Barbara Brown and Beatrice Packer.

Among the many things Luther will be remembered for was his love of motorcycles.

All are invited to gather with Luther’s family Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at John Street Baptist Church, 43 John St., Worcester, followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. in the church. He will then be laid to rest with military honors at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Roney Funeral Home in North Grafton.
