St. John’s football defeats Shrewsbury

    Shrewsbury – The St. John’s High School Pioneers defeated the Shrewsbury High School Colonials by a score of 28-7, in a game played Friday, October 9 at Shrewsbury High School.

    Josh Shrestha caught two touchdown passed from quarterback Tim Cassidy. Cassidy also had a 2 yard run for a touchdown of his own. Michael Bernard ran in St. John’s final touchdown. Shrewsbury’s lone score came on a touchdown pass to A.J. Laramee from quarterback Chris Wiseman.

    St. John’s improves to 5-1 on the season while Shrewsbury falls to 1-5.
