Obit Armand H. BerardMarlborough – Armand H. Berard, 92, of Marlborough, died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015 at his home. Born in N. Brookfield, he was the son of the late George D. and Isabel (Grenon) Berard. He had been the husband of the late Rose Marie (Lapierre) Berard, who died in 1993.

A veteran of WWII, Mr. Berard served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed by General Motors Corporation, Framingham, for 35 years before retiring in 1988.

A talented artist, Mr. Berard, was self-taught in various media, including pen and ink, charcoal and oil.

He is survived by his son, Wayne C. Berard and his wife Deborah of Rochdale, and his daughters, Karen M. Stead and her husband Scott of Charlton, Renay H. Blair and her husband James of Marlborough, Denise C. Blair and her husband Rick of Marlborough, and his youngest daughter, Leslie A. Berard of Hyde Park, whom he admired for her courage, respected for her determination, and felt pride in the manner she handled the physical limitations placed on her since birth. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and was also the brother of the late George Berard, Holly Pandolfo, Lillian Dedecko and Pauline Pierozzi.

Funeral services will be private.
