Ashland:  Documentary Film Series holds six-part miniseries

42

Ashland – The Ashland Documentary Film & Discussion Series will present the film Electromagnetic Radiation Health for Children Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 7-9 p.m., in the Community Room of the Ashland Public Library, 66 Front St. The film is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Library.

Through a special six-part miniseries, the Documentary Film Series invites residents of Metrowest to participate in a discussion about the impact of wireless radiation on themselves and their children, at home and in the schools.

In her talk, Electromagnetic Radiation Health for Children, British physician Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe delivered a synopsis of the harm being done to our children – and all future generations – from our addiction to microwave-emitting, wireless devices. Wireless baby monitors, laptops, tablets, smart phones and ‘smart’ meters all emit the same kind of highly bio-active frequencies which cause intracellular disarray and stress responses within our bodies leading to innumerable and sometimes serious problems for those being exposed. Learn positive steps to minimize risks and damage.

Schedule:

Thursday, Oct. 8 – Take Back Your Power: This award-winning documentary uncovers the story behind why hundreds of local governments are standing against the multi-billion dollar rollout of ‘smart’ utility meters. Take a journey of revelation, examining evidence of in-home privacy invasions, systemic over-billing, extortion, health and environmental harm, fires and unprecedented hacking vulnerability. And be inspired by emerging solutions.

Tuesday, Oct. 27 – Dr. Erica Mallerly-Blythe: Electromagnetic Radiation Health for Children: British physician Dr Erica Mallery-Blythe recently delivered this presentation on our addiction to microwave-emitting, wireless devices. Wireless baby monitors, laptops, tablets, smart phones and ‘smart’ meters all emit the same kind of frequencies, which she believes cause intracellular disarray and stress responses within our bodies leading to innumerable and sometimes serious problems for those being exposed. Learn positive steps to take to minimize the potential risks.

Thursday, Nov. 12 – Microwaves, Science and Lies: With their documentary “Ondes, Science et Manigances” [“Microwaves, Science and Lies”], the journalist Nancy Meritens and film director Jean Hèches show how the mobile industry creates doubt about harmful radiofrequency waves through the manipulation of science.

Tuesday, Nov. 24 – Mobilize: A Film About Cell Phone Radiation: An investigative documentary that explores the potential long-term health effects, including cancer and infertility, from cell phone radiation. The film examines the most recent scientific research, follows national legislative efforts, and illuminates the influence that technology companies have on public health.

Thursday, Dec. 10 – Resonance: Beings of Frequency: It’s all around us now, invisible, but we know it’s there. Every time you lift up your mobile phone you know it’s there: electromagnetic radiation (EMR). It is very hard to turn the clock back, in fact it is impossible, but we need to be aware of the adverse health effects so that we can have the choice of taking precautions against the exposures.

Tuesday, Dec. 22 – Questioning the Safety of Our Children’s Exposure to Wireless Radiation: An Important Discussion for Parents: A recording of the June 10 Framingham public forum, including questions and answers with Framingham Board of Health Chair Michael Hugo and Ashland School Committee Chair Laurie Tosti.

The Ashland Documentary Film & Discussion Series meets every 2nd Thursday and 4th Tuesday of the month for an in-depth look at important topics of our day. The moderated discussions are often lively and thought provoking. All points of view are welcomed. For more information, call the library at 508-881-0134 or visit www.friendsoftheapl.com.
