To the Editor:
Maureen and I have decided that Tuesday, Oct. 6, would be our last Opioid Awareness, Education, and Treatment Options meeting. We hope all of you who have attended our meetings over the past seven months got as much out of them as we did.
Shortly after we began these meetings one of our objectives was to get community leaders involved. We are pleased to say, since meeting with the mayor of Marlborough this past summer, an Opioid Awareness, Education and Prevention Coalition has been formed in our community that will address many of our concerns, most importantly spreading awareness and educating ourselves and others about this disease. They have the resources to bring it to the next level.
Let your voices be heard!
