Westborough – Registration is now ongoing for Westborough Recreation winter basketball. Players in grades kindergarten through 12 are encouraged to sign up at www.westbororec.com. The deadline for grades 3 through 6 is Friday, Oct. 30.
Also on Oct. 30, starting at 5:30 p.m., the department will be hosting its annual Halloween party for grades kindergarten through 4 in the gym of the Sarah W. Gibbons School , 20 Fisher St. A disc jockey will be spinning tunes throughout the night and hosting interactive games for all. There will also be games, prizes, snacks, and a glow stick candy scavenger hunt. There is no admission charge but guests are asked to consider bringing an item that will then be donated to the Westborough Food Pantry.
