    Shrewsbury – The St. John’s High School Pioneers defeated the Marlborough High School Panthers by a score of 27-13 in a game played Oct. 24.

    Marlborough scored twice in the second quarter to take a 13-7 lead into halftime. St. John’s came out strong in the second half, scoring three unanswered touchdowns to easily take home the victory. Tim Cassidy ran for two touchdowns for St. John’s, while Peter Oliver and MacBrien Nkongchu each scored one. Marlborough’s touchdowns were scored by Luke Goulet and Brian Short.

    St. John’s improves to 6-1 on the season while Marlborough falls to 4-3.
