Shrewsbury – Village Dental Group of Shrewsbury is hoping to curb the cavities this season by holding its first annual “Halloween candy buyback” Saturday, Nov. 7 from 12-2 pm.
When local children stop by the office in their Halloween costumes with the candy they collected trick-or-treating, Village Dental will buy back any unopened candy for $1 per pound, for up to five pounds. Children who bring in five pounds or more of their Halloween candy will be entered to win an iPad.
All candy will be sent to troops stationed overseas via Operation Gratitude. Children are invited to stay a while at the Village Dental office, play carnival games for prizes, and color pictures to be sent along with the candy to the troops.
For more information, stop by the office at 622 Main St., Shrewsbury, or call 508- 845-1156.
Village Dental is one of three dental practices owned by Dr. Nicholas Papapetros. The practice offers many services including cosmetic, general dentistry, periodontal, and more.
