Shrewsbury – Mike Wankum, WCVB-ABC Channel 5 meteorologist, will speak at the First Congregational Church, Gifford Hall, Friday, Nov. 6. Wankum, a multi-award winning forecaster, including 10 regional Emmy Awards, will provide insight into such topics as climate change and severe weather. The program, sponsored by the Shrewsbury Woman’s Club, is free and open to members and their guests. Hospitality begins at 12 p.m.; the program starts at 1 p.m.
